Installation Instructions
1 Pre-Installation Safety & Preparation
Power Safety First: Always completely disconnect the main power supply before installation, replacement, or maintenance to avoid electric shock hazards.
Fixture Compatibility Check:
Confirm the bulb's base type matches your fixture (available in E26/E27 and E39/E40 bases for universal compatibility).
Verify the input voltage (100-277V AC) matches your local power supply.
Ballast Bypass Requirement: This is a direct-wire LED bulb. You must remove or bypass the existing ballast in the fixture before installation; do not use with a ballast, as this will damage the bulb.
Product Inspection: Check the bulb for damage, deformation, or loose components before use. Do not install a damaged bulb.
Environment Check: Ensure the installation location has good ventilation for heat dissipation, and is free from flammable materials, corrosive gases, or extreme temperatures.
2 Installation Steps
Remove Old Bulb & Ballast: Remove the existing traditional bulb, then access the fixture's wiring compartment to remove or bypass the ballast, connecting the live (L), neutral (N), and ground (PE) wires directly to the socket.
Screw in the LED Bulb: Align the bulb's base with the fixture socket, and screw it in firmly until it is fully seated and secure.
Power & Function Test: Restore the power supply to test if the bulb turns on normally, and confirm the color temperature/wattage (if selectable) is set correctly.
Adjust Installation Angle: Ensure the bulb is installed in a position that allows unobstructed air flow for heat dissipation; do not install in enclosed, unventilated fixtures.
