📋 Pre-Installation Preparation
Safety First: Turn off the power supply at the circuit breaker to avoid electric shock.
Check Ceiling/ Surface:
For Recessed Installation: Confirm the ceiling cutout size matches the downlight and ensure sufficient space behind.
For Surface Mount: Ensure the surface is flat and sturdy to support the fixture.
Gather Tools: Basic screwdriver, wire strippers, and a voltage tester (for safety checks).
🔌 Installation Methods
Method 1: Recessed (Embedded) Installation
Cut the Hole: Drill a standard hole in the ceiling according to the fixture's size requirements.
Wiring Connection: Connect the AC power wires (live, neutral, ground) to the downlight's driver, following local electrical codes. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
Secure the Fixture: Compress the stainless steel spring clips on both sides of the downlight. Insert the fixture into the ceiling hole, then release the clips. The springs will expand and grip the ceiling tightly for a stable fit.
Final Check: Push the trim flush against the ceiling for a seamless finish.
