The led lights indicate "not fire rated" on the back of them... This is not in the picture of the product. what does this mean?
Answer:It means these are not rated to help reduce the spread of fire should one occur (unrelated to the light itself). When you cut a hole in your ceiling to install a light you are technically reducing the fire rating of the ceiling, and these types of lights are not made to prevent fires from spreading from floor to floor.
