Installation Instructions
1 Pre-Installation Safety Preparation
Power Safety First: Always completely disconnect the main power supply before installation, wiring, or maintenance to avoid electric shock hazards.
Product Inspection: Check the downlight, heatsink, spring clips, and connectors for damage, deformation, or loose components. Do not use a damaged unit.
Ceiling Compatibility: Confirm the ceiling cutout size matches the downlight's dimensions, and ensure the ceiling material can support the fixture's weight.
Environment Check: Install in a well-ventilated ceiling cavity to maintain heatsink performance. Do not install near flammable materials or in enclosed, unventilated spaces.
2 Step-by-Step Installation
Prepare Ceiling Cutout: Cut a hole in the ceiling matching the downlight's required opening size.
Wiring Connection: Use the IP65 male/female quick connectors to link the downlight to the isolated driver, then connect the driver to the main power supply (follow L/N/PE markings for live, neutral, and ground wires).
Secure the Fixture: Squeeze the red spring clips upward, insert the downlight into the ceiling cutout, and release the clips to lock the fixture firmly against the ceiling.
Angle Adjustment (For Adjustable Models): Loosen the adjustment screw on the fixture, tilt the light to the desired beam angle, then retighten the screw to secure the position.
Power Test: Restore power to verify the light turns on normally, with no flickering or abnormal operation.
