🛠️ Step-by-Step Installation Guide – Get It Up & Running in Minutes
What You'll Need:
Your new adjustable LED downlight + driver
A screwdriver (if needed for wire connections)
Wire strippers (if your wires are un-stripped)
A voltage tester (to confirm power is off!)
Step 1: Prep the Space & Power
Turn off the power to the ceiling circuit at your home's main electrical panel. Use a voltage tester to double-check the wires are dead-safety always comes first!
Confirm your ceiling cutout matches the 95mm required opening size. If it's too small, carefully trim the hole; if too large, use a ceiling trim ring (sold separately) for a perfect fit.
Step 2: Wire the Light & Driver
Open the LED driver's terminal cover (if applicable).
Connect the driver's input wires to your home's power wires (live/neutral/ground, marked clearly on the driver). Secure the connections with wire nuts or the included connectors to avoid loose wires.
Connect the driver's output wires to the downlight's corresponding wires, following the polarity markings (positive to positive, negative to negative).
Tuck the driver neatly into the ceiling cavity above the cutout, making sure it's not pinched or crammed.
Step 3: Install the Downlight
Squeeze the two spring clips on the sides of the light inward, then insert the fixture into the ceiling cutout.
Release the clips-they'll expand outward, gripping the ceiling and holding the light flush in place.
Give the light a gentle tug to confirm it's securely installed and won't shift or fall out.
Step 4: Adjust & Aim Your Light
Turn the power back on at the main panel and flip the light switch.
Once the light is on, gently rotate the lamp head 355° and tilt it up to 90° to aim the beam exactly where you want it. Perfect for highlighting decor, lighting workspaces, or creating dramatic wall-washing effects!
