How to choose a dustproof and waterproof lamp?
Verify IP protection:
User environment determines choice. IP54 is suitable for dry workshops, IP65 for outdoor, kitchen, car wash, and other water-exposed areas, IP66 or higher for rinsing or complete rain exposure, and IP67/IP68 for underwater lighting.
Check materials and workmanship:
Shell material impacts corrosion resistance and longevity. High-quality polymers like PC and PP or stainless steel are popular. Check the interface and sealing ring (typically silicone) for quality, as this affects sealing.
See the light source and effect:
LED light source confirmed. Consider luminous flux, color rendering index, and color temperature.
Ra color rendering index: For fine color differentiation, such as quality inspection areas, consider lamps with a Ra value above 80.
Change color temperature as needed. Workshops employ neutral light (4000K–5000K), whereas cold storage facilities may need high-color temperature white light to brighten.
