Correct Usage Instructions
Installation & Setup
Pre-Installation Check: Verify the power supply voltage matches the light's rated input. Disconnect all power before installation to avoid electric shock.
Mounting the Light: Secure the light to a stable shelf, grow rack, or ceiling using compatible mounting clips. Maintain a recommended distance of 30–50cm above plants to avoid leaf burn.
Wiring & Connection:
For direct wiring: Connect the exposed live/neutral/ground wires to a compatible power source, ensuring proper insulation.
For plug-in use: Connect the pre-wired plug to a grounded electrical outlet.
For daisy-chaining: Use the included butt connectors to link multiple lights in series, ensuring all connections are tight and sealed.
Seal Check: Confirm all end caps, connectors, and housing seams are properly sealed to maintain the IP44 waterproof rating, especially in humid environments.
2 Operation & Plant Care Guidelines
Lighting Schedule: Set a daily photoperiod based on plant type: 12–16 hours for vegetative growth, 8–12 hours for flowering/fruiting. Use a timer for consistent, automated lighting.
Height Adjustment: Adjust the light height as plants grow to maintain optimal PAR levels. Keep the light at least 30cm above foliage to prevent heat stress.
Environment Compatibility: Use in indoor grow rooms, greenhouses, hydroponic systems, and vertical farms. The IP44 rating allows use in humid conditions, but avoid direct water immersion.
Heat Management: Ensure proper ventilation around the light to enhance heat dissipation. Do not cover the aluminum housing during operation.
3 Maintenance & Safety
Regular Cleaning: Wipe the PC cover with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and residue, maintaining light transmittance. Disconnect power before cleaning.
Inspection: Periodically check wiring, connectors, and housing for wear or damage. Replace any faulty components immediately.
Safety Precautions: Do not disassemble or modify the light. Keep away from flammable materials. Do not look directly at the LED source for extended periods.
Storage: Store unused lights in a cool, dry place. Disconnect power when not in use for long periods.
