1.Quality control of the adhesive bonding process

Water Treatment Agent Coating Inspection:
The sole (rubber, EVA, TPU, etc.) must be treated with a fluorescent treatment agent before applying the adhesive. You can barely see this treatment ingredient after drying.
This therapeutic agent fluoresces brightly blue or green under 365nm UV light. Quality inspectors or personnel can rapidly determine:
Uniform coating: Are any regions missing?
Enough coating: Fluorescence intensity indirectly indicates treatment agent thickness.
Check Glue Lines:
Procedure: Special shoe adhesives or those containing fluorescent ingredients glow under 365nm light after curing.
After pressing the shoes, quality testers use ultraviolet light to inspect the adhesive seam, which shows:
Do glue breaks or holes exist?
Is there adhesive accumulation or extreme thinness?
Excess glue glows, making it easier to spot and clean up.

2.The curing of specific adhesives

For certain UV-curable adhesives to initiate the curing reaction, UVA light sources are necessary. The adhesives can cure quickly-within a few seconds to many tens of seconds-thanks to the concentrated and effective ultraviolet radiation that the 365nm LED lamp can offer. This works especially well for quickly placing and gluing small parts.

3.Detection of Foreign Objects and Stains

Under a 365 nm light, certain invisible sweat stains, oil stains, and chemical residues on the surface of materials (such mesh cloth and white leather) would exhibit noticeable fluorescent spots that differ from the materials' original hue. It can be used to ensure that the final products are clean by inspecting the cleanliness of light-colored shoe bottoms or upper portions.

4.Anti-counterfeiting and Traceability

Some luxury companies may put production batch numbers or anti-counterfeiting codes on shoe labels, linings, or shoe boxes using invisible fluorescent ink. These can be checked under a 365 nm light source.
