1. Regular upkeep
(1) The lamp cover and explosion-proof light should be able to shut off the electricity on their own before opening. Although it is not simple to construct, the interlocking device is more difficult to set up, therefore most lights only have warning labels like "Do not open with power on" when the housing is visibly visible. There is still a possibility of the ignition of combustible gases since the bulb's surface temperature is still high after a power outage.
(2) The power and type of the lamp source used in lighting fixtures replacements must adhere to the marks on the fittings or overheating may result. The flameproof joint surface of the explosion-proof emergency light must be appropriately protected from harm when changing the bulb (tube). There should be no rust coating on the flameproof surface. After cleaning, there shouldn't be any numbness if there is minimal rust. For the safety-enhancing bulbs, it's crucial that the sealing ring utilised to ensure water and dust resistance is intact. Replace the sealing ring with one that meets the same specifications and is made of the same material if it has been significantly damaged, and if required, replace the complete lamp. When fixing, be sure the lampshade is intact and replace it right away if it is damaged.
2. Consistent upkeep and repair
(1) To comprehend the lamp's operation and to clarify usage guidelines, maintenance and repair employees must get on-the-job training.Maintenance staff members need to be knowledgeable in their field and conversant with the design of lighting items.
(2) Frequently clean the explosion-proof flood lamp's exterior to increase the lights' light output and heat dissipation capabilities. Depending on the lamp housing's capacity to defend itself, the cleaning procedure might involve spraying water (above the lamp shade) or using a moist cloth. Be sure to turn off the power before spraying with water. To avoid static electricity, it is strictly forbidden to wipe off the lamp's plastic shell (visible sections) with a dry towel.
(3) Check the lamp's plastic housing (the transparent portion) for significant discoloration. If the fading is severe, the plastic has become brittle. Examine the protective net for looseness, desoldering, corrosion, etc., as well as the transparent components for indications that extraneous objects may have touched them. If so, cease using it right away and get a replacement.
(4) To avoid electrical components such ballasts staying in an abnormal state for a long period because the light source cannot be started, the light should be shut off promptly when the light source is broken and the replacement should be informed.
(5) To guarantee the protective performance of the shell, any water in the lamp cavity used in a humid area should be promptly evacuated, and the sealing components should be changed.
(6) According to the warning notice, open the lamp cover only after the power has been turned off.
(7) After removing the cover, inspect the explosion-proof joint surface for damage, sticky or hardened rubber seals, green or carbonised wire insulation, and burn and deformation marks on the insulation and electrical components. If any issues are discovered, they need to be promptly fixed and replaced.
(8) After repair and replacement, the kind, specifications, size, and performance of the light source, parts, and electrical components must be exactly the same as they were before maintenance and replacement.
(9) To prevent damage to the seal, the sealed portion of the lamp shouldn't be disassembled and opened repeatedly.
