How Microwave Sensing Works

Microwave sensing uses high-frequency electromagnetic radiation to detect moving objects. It is temperature-insensitive and more sensitive than ordinary infrared sensing. When persons or vehicles approach the monitoring area, the light fixture glows at 100% brightness; when they leave, it dims or goes into standby. This triggering system eliminates manual energy waste and is ideal for intermittent operations like night construction and warehouse inspection.

Complex-environment reliability

Emergency power is available for this light, which operates from -40°C to 45°C. It may illuminate for 1.5 hours after a power outage. The microwave detecting module resists rain, snow, and dust, and its 360° beam angle eliminates blind areas. Its high-voltage adaptability (100-480VAC) lets it adapt to varied power grid settings in different countries without voltage stabilizing equipment.

Energy conservation and long-term operation benefits

The 130lm/W luminous efficacy exceeds high-pressure sodium lamps. Light output is 5200lm at 40W. Microwave detection decreases energy waste, saving over 60%. Its 50,000-hour lifespan and 5-year warranty decrease maintenance, making it ideal for long-term outdoor projects. Options include microwave sensing and non-sensing versions for cost-effective and versatile use.

Application scenario core value

Microwave sensing speeds safety response in mines, building sites, and emergency rescue operations. Manual operation in the dark and power loss from forgetting to turn off the lights are avoided with automatic lighting. In addition, the detecting function and high color rendering index (CRI 80+) ensure operation precision and fulfill transient lighting conditions' intelligent needs.
