Consider converting to LED lights if your incandescent bulbs begin to burn out. These lights are a prudent and economical purchase because of their longevity of more than 5 years. LEDs, including LED Panel Lights and LED Downlights, have advanced significantly in recent years and can now be used in any space in your house or place of business. Before rushing to the store and purchasing the first LED you see, there are five things to think about.
1.LUMENS
Be unconcerned about watts. You aren't investing in an incandescent bulb. What you're looking for are lumens. Watts alone will consume your entire day of attention if you do. LEDs and incandescent bulbs cannot be compared in this area. Although lumens and watts don't always match up, in general, you should search for an LED with 800 lumens if you want something that resembles a 60W bulb.
2. COLOUR
There are many different colours and spectrums of LED Panel Lights and Downlights. Most likely, you're looking for a hue that like that of your incandescent. The shades you seek are warm white, brilliant white, or gentle white. While brilliant white can make you appear more natural, warm and soft white will give you a golden hue.
3.COST
You'll quickly see that an LED will cost you more than a standard bulb. The cost of the LED you choose will eventually be outweighed by the savings you realise and by the fact that your bulb probably won't need to be updated for many years. In fact, a single LED bulb may save you at least $100 over the course of its lifespan.
4. DIMMER
Not all LEDs can be dimmed. Make sure an LED bulb is marked for use with a dimmer if you wish to use one. While upgrading to LED Panel Lights or Dimmable LED Downlights for your house or workplace may seem like a complicated task, the installation may be finished in a single weekend.
5. HEAT
Contrary to what many people think, LEDs do not generate heat. They do, but not in the same way. Avoid using LEDs in enclosed fixtures if you want them to remain bright and functioning for the rest of your life. Make sure the LED is designed for sunken fixtures if you plan to use it in a recessed fixture.
