It has been shown that office workers are more productive and efficient when there is enough illumination. Small and medium-sized companies may enhance their lighting systems to create a more comfortable working environment by using Osram's HubSense intelligent lighting control system, which has standardized "Qualified Bluetooth Mesh" technology.
Existing systems may be upgraded with the system without the need for new cabling, a gateway, or any other IT equipment. HubSense provides the flexibility required to modify the lighting in response to changes in room use and is compatible with new installations in conference rooms, hallways, open-plan offices, and single offices.
In Kolding, Denmark, Osram's HubSense smart lighting technology is used for the first time. Off-site planning and commissioning of the new system's needs is possible using the HubSense commissioning app. The system was implemented on-site in a single day without interfering with regular office activities. Installing a sensor and control equipment in each luminaire was the extent of the installation effort. The luminaires were swiftly allocated to the appropriate illumination zones thanks to an app-based wireless identification system. Commissioning was streamlined and expedited by predefined lighting control profiles.
