The lighting is the most important factor in every house! LED strips are one of our preferred lighting options. When you experiment with different colors, they work wonders for accent lighting.
It's more crucial to look for long-lasting, high-quality LED strips than it is to go out and spend a bunch on them. However, how can you distinguish between high-quality and low-quality LED strips? When purchasing your strips, keep an eye out for these four issues.
The PCB track
Each LED chip is connected via a conductor track, which is used to supply electricity to each chip. Reducing the amount of copper utilized results in savings because the track is composed of copper, one of the more costly components of the strip.
As a result, the conducting track becomes thinner, which results in inadequate heat dissipation and an earlier failure of the LED strips. For greater durability, look for LED strip lights with thicker, larger copper tracks. Better LEDs will disperse heat more effectively and the strips will not bend as easily, you'll discover.
Resistors
Smaller resistors are used in low-cost LED strip lights to improve illumination. This shortens the lifespan of the LED chips by adding to their workload. High-quality LED strips have the right resistors, which means they last longer and have superior luminance.
Coating

Even when heated while in use, the sturdy, odorless coating of high-quality LED strips remains intact. We discovered throughout our test that inexpensive LED strips are not suitable for sensitive nostrils.
