Want to replace your old lights with LED ones for your new house, but salespeople at lighting stores are confusing you? These three pointers will help you choose LED downlights.

Verify the LED and encapsulation brand. Since LEDs are one of the primary components of LED downlights, their quality is crucial. It determines a lot of factors, like the lighting's longevity and brightness. The most well-known brand of LED chips is Cree, USA. Prices are higher, of course. The good and economical one is Taiwan's Epistar. They encapsulate on the mainland rather often. There are several additional brands as well, such LumiLEDS, Samsung, and Bridgelux.

2. Examine the radiator (heat sink). The longevity of an LED downlight is influenced by the heat sink. A poorly designed heat sink will prevent the lamp's heat from being released, which will shorten its lifespan. useful metal is useful for heat distribution since it has strong heat conductivity. Furthermore, the large Heat Sink ("fin" like) LED Downlight has strong heat dispersal capabilities.

3. Examine the driver, or power supply. Although LEDs are not easily broken, their lifespan is comparatively less than that of the power supply. The light may be utilized even if the LEDs are damaged. However, until the driver is changed, the light will not function if there is a problem with it. Therefore, we must give careful consideration to the driver while selecting LED downlights. And, if it's feasible, get downlights with an external driver. If you keep these three things in mind, you won't get lost.
