Some people say that using energy-saving lamps in practice has little effect. But the spectrum is not the same. Chickens can see light with a wavelength of 400-700 nm, which is particularly sensitive to red, orange and yellow light. Yellow light reduces feed returns, delays sexual maturity, increases egg weight, reduces egg production, and increases pecking. Green light and blue light promote sexual maturation and make chickens gain weight quickly. Chickens tend to be quiet under red light, pecking decreases, maturation is slightly later, egg production is slightly increased, but fertilization rate is lower. Some people have practiced it for two years, and the scale is relatively large, which has little effect on laying hens, but affects the fertilization rate of breeders. Choose a light temperature of 2300K~2600K, or choose a warm light type, the kind of blue and white light, should not be selected; Also, energy-saving lamps have electronic components, and the chicken coop has a large moisture, so a fully enclosed lamp head should be selected. Add light stimulation before the start of production, it is best not to use energy-saving lamps.
