On the other hand, some research has indicated that extended exposure to UV radiation can result in ageing of the skin, skin cancer, and macular degeneration, among other issues relating to the skin and eyes. Conversely, UV lamps have the ability to cure both LED and UV nail polish. But some nail polish manufacturers now make UV polish that uses LED lights for curing.
