High-pole LED floodlights are mounted on poles exceeding 15 meters tall. They focus on high-quality illumination for squares, ports, and vast parking lots. Their design combines great brightness and wide-angle coverage.
Lighting performance and tech advantages
These lamps use large-power LED chip sets with 500–1500 watts per lamp. The high luminous efficiency design produces over 130 lumens per watt, significantly greater than metal halide lamps. Professionally built light distribution systems balance wide beam angle and uniformity, decreasing lighting blind area. The chips function at the right temperature with less than 3% light attenuation (10,000 hours) thanks to the aluminum heat dissipation shell and active cooling system.
Energy efficiency and installation configuration
Group-lit high pole lighting systems use 4 to 12 floodlights per pole. Ground lighting is equally spread by calculating illumination angle and overlap rate. The intelligent control system can use an astronomical clock and photosensitive components for on-demand lighting. LED systems save 50%–70% energy and require less maintenance than high-pressure sodium bulb systems.
Application examples and selection criteria
This lamp works in highway hubs, sports events, logistical storage areas, and industrial composite zones. The pole height, lighting radius, and vertical illuminance should be considered when choosing. The protection level must exceed IP66, and wind resistance must be 60 m/s. The electrical system should defend against lightning and voltage fluctuations.
With their effective optical system and stable structural construction, high-pole LED floodlights deliver energy-saving, efficient large-scale lighting. These are the norm for modern infrastructure.
