1. Getting Ready for Installation
Examine the item: Make sure the driver, mounting clips, and LED downlight are all in good condition and have the voltage you need (e.g., AC100-240V).
Get the tools ready: Get a wire stripper, screwdriver, and hole saw ready for installation.
Mark the location: Mark the mounting location on the ceiling based on the cutout size of the product (e.g., Φ180-200mm).
2. Steps for Installation
Make a hole: At the indicated location, make a round hole in the ceiling using a hole saw.
Attach the wires: Connect the driver's output wires to the LED terminals of the lamp after connecting the driver's input wires to the mains power (L/N/PE) in accordance with local electrical regulations.
Mount the lamp by inserting the lamp into the pre-cut hole, pressing the spring clips on both sides of the lamp body inward, and then releasing the clips to secure the lamp firmly in the ceiling.
Power on: To test the lighting function, turn on the power source and make sure the lamp illuminates steadily and without flickering.
3. Usage & Operation Advice
Dimming function (optional): To change brightness and colour temperature (2700K-6000K) as needed, connect a dimmable driver to a suitable dimmer switch.
Cleaning and upkeep: Before cleaning, turn off the electricity. Use a gentle, dry towel to wipe the surface; avoid using corrosive cleaners.
Notes about safety: To prevent burns, keep your hands away from the heat sink while the lamp is operating. For the best heat dissipation, make sure the installation area has adequate ventilation.
