1. Incredibly user-friendly: Pre-allocate space for the ceiling joists. With the power deactivated, compress the metal mounting clips on either side of the light fixture and draw them inward to secure the entire light into the ceiling cavity. Disengage the clips; they will autonomously expand and secure around the joists to finalise the attachment.
