Products Details
LED floodlights over 1000 watts are high-power. Higher technical requirements than power bulbs are reflected in:
1.Ultra-efficient heat dissipation design:
Challenge: 1000-watt power generates a lot of heat. Poor heat dissipation will quickly dim the LED chip and limit its lifespan.
Solution: Use an ultra-large die-cast aluminum enclosure and carefully engineered heat dissipation fins. Active cooling methods like built-in turbo fans are sometimes used to keep chip junction temperatures safe. The heat sink is heavy and large.
2. Efficient and dependable optical system: Challenge: Tunnel lighting demands a precise light distribution curve. It must illuminate the road without glare for cars.
Solution: Create rectangular light spots with asymmetric light distribution lenses to uniformly cover the lane and reduce glare.
3. Superior protection and durability: Challenge: The tunnel environment is hostile, with vehicle exhaust, smoke, dust, vibrations, and dampness.
Solution: High protection level: At least IP65 (dust and water resistant), suggested IP66/IP67, to protect internal components.
The enclosure's surface treatment must be WF2 or higher to resist chemical corrosion.
The structure must endure vehicle vibrations.
4. Power efficiency and reliability:
Challenge: Powering 1000-watt LEDs reliably and at high temperatures and loads.
Solution: Industrial-grade, high-performance (usually > 0.95) LED driver power supply with overvoltage, overcurrent, overheat, and surge protection (such as lightning protection above 10kV) are required.
