Leaders in the industry give Nichia's Tunable 757 high marks, and it wins the prestigious LpS Best Sustainability Technology Award.
On September 19th, Nichia, the pioneer and creator of the high-brightness LED, revealed to the world a revolutionary single LES, tunable white mid power 3030 LED. One week later, at LpS 2019 in Bregenz, Austria, the game-changing NF2W757G-MT was detailed. As previously stated, luminaire makers worldwide now have design and operational flexibility thanks to this state-of-the-art technology.
By combining new patented technology with the traditional 757 package, NF2W757G-MT enables a seamless transition for users from 6,500K to 2,700K CCTs. Its capacity to achieve colour tuning beneath a compact, single light emitting surface (LES) is a key invention. This allows for excellent colour uniformity and great colour quality, with typical CCTs reaching up to 90 CRI. Bulky mixing chambers are no longer necessary because to the 2-in-1 tunable white 757, which allows for smaller, sleeker optical systems.
NF2W757G-MT not only offers outstanding colour, but it also enables customers to increase operating efficiency. The industry's top mid-power LED, CCT, may now be easily chosen during assembly, shipping, or installation, with performance comparable to the main 757s shipping now, eliminating the need to store inventory of numerous CCTs. This may significantly save costs, lead times, and inventory complexity. To make implementation even easier, NF2W757G-MT will be offered in a variety of binning choices, including 3-step alone.

For the 2-in-1 Tunable White LED with Single LES, Nichia won the Best Sustainability Technology Award. This was their second consecutive award win; in 2018, OptisolisTM won LpS Best Lighting Technology.
