The Planar HRO Series expands the company's portfolio of LED display solutions with a high brightness, fine pixel pitch LED offering that is built for close-up daylight video viewing. The Planar HRO Series delivers impactful visual experiences for audiences even in direct sunlight.
The 1.5 mm and 1.9 mm pixel pitches of the Planar HRO Series are among the best available for outdoor LED displays. The series is perfect for a range of outdoor applications, from uncovered business pavilions and amphitheatre backgrounds to poolside hospitality, transit advertising and shop exteriors. Its fine pixel pitch, 3,500 nit brightness and 16:9 aspect ratio for video make it the perfect choice.
The new outdoor LED displays, according to Planar, are designed to withstand weather conditions with LED treatments that shield them from dust, water, UV radiation, and casual touch without compromising the viewing experience. The rear of the Planar HRO Series displays has protective plates that shield the wires and mechanics, extending the solution's lifespan independent of external conditions. The displays have complete front service for easier maintenance and allow for wall-mounted or stacked installations.
Display versions in the new series come in diagonal sizes of 130, 174, 217, and 260 inches. To guarantee clear images for viewers as near as 10 feet (3 meters) away, the models' resolutions start at Full HD (1920 x 1080) on the 130" model and go up to 4K (3840 x 2160) on the 260" model.
