The latest additions include more than 25,000 LED modules that, when combined, are long enough to complete two and a half laps around the course, brilliant enough to illuminate the sky, and designed to enhance the professional racing fan's watching experience.
Through its collaboration with Liberty Media and Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., Samsung Electronics America today announced that it would be bringing Samsung display technology to the eagerly awaited Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023. The Las Vegas Grand Prix pit building will be illuminated by Samsung display technologies after the lights go out on November 18. These technologies include three extra-large grandstand screens with a combined pixel count of 3.8 million, a dynamic tight-pitch display that acts as a backdrop for the entry escalator, and a new "star" in the sky: an LED display that resembles the F1 logo. The stunning LED display that sits atop the 1,000-foot-long pit building rooftop is so bright that it might even be visible from space.

James Fishler, Senior Vice President of the Display and Home Entertainment Divisions, Samsung Electronics America, stated, "Liberty Media and the Las Vegas Grand Prix are focused on delivering the most memorable experiences for fans in attendance as well as viewing the broadcast worldwide, as F1's viewership soars in the U.S." "The installation of these state-of-the-art Samsung screens dramatically adorns the Las Vegas Grand Prix pit building and revolutionizes how fans in the grandstands watch this race, marking a turning point for the sport of racing in 2023."
The F1 Rooftop Logo
As broadcasters utilize the sign to provide more immersive and up-close views of the race, the 28,166-square-foot 10mm LED display, which has more than 22 million pixels and spans 481 feet-longer than a football field-excites spectators at home by mirroring the form of the F1 emblem.

F1 Trapezoid Escalator
The 1,480-square-foot 3.9mm LED escalator display uses more than 9 million pixels to provide breathtaking material that is sure to generate a "wow" moment.
The Grandstand
Three 941-square-foot Samsung 8mm LED screens with more than 1.2 million pixels are installed in the grandstands to improve the viewing experience for all in-person guests and guarantee that no action is missed. With over 8,000-nit brightness and Samsung's most recent and cutting-edge HDR10+ technology, the new screens provide the most dynamic picture quality, even on the brightest days.
With their combined length of over 32,000 square feet, the F1 Roof Top Logo, Escalator Trapezoid, and three Grandstand displays have over 33 million Samsung LED pixels and are long enough to complete two and a half laps of the Las Vegas F1 course.

Renee Wilm, CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., said, "We are thrilled to provide our fans with enhanced experiences as Las Vegas is poised to host an F1 Grand Prix event of the most impressive magnitude." "With Samsung's contribution of cutting-edge technology to the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, we are accomplishing this goal through our partnership."
One of the several ways Samsung is transforming the fan experience across professional sports leagues is via its collaboration with Liberty Media and Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. Notable locations around the country, such as Hollywood Park, Citi Field, and Minute Maid Park, use Samsung's cutting-edge LED technology in addition to the displays on-site at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. With its range of Samsung Neo QLED 8K and 4K class TVs that provide realistic image and sound, Samsung also delivers the thrill of the stadium and racetrack into the living room. With smooth, lightning-fast action and unparalleled UHD color and depth, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 curved display offers a realistic racing gaming experience for Formula 1 enthusiasts who want to jump behind the wheel.
