CRI: What is it?
The accuracy of the real color of the light source portraying objects, people, and the surrounding environment is referred to as the color rendering index, or CRM.

1. Value of the color rendering index (CRI)
The highest number is 100, and the greater the number, the stronger the skill. A CRI score of 60–85 is Good, a score of less than 55 is often regarded as Poor, and a rating of 90 or more is considered Excellent.

2.The second metric for measuring artificial light sources is the color rendering index (CRI).
To determine the color quality of LED fixtures, you may often compare them to incandescent or daylight bulbs based on the Color Temperature (CCT). According to the CRI standard, color temperatures below 5000K should be represented by the Planckian radiation spectrum, while color temperatures above 5000K should be represented by the daylight spectrum.

Note: The Planckian radiation spectrum may be thought of as the light source of incandescent and halogen lights. The daylight spectrum is based on the color temperature of the LED to replicate the equivalent natural light of the sun.

3. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) compares and quantifies an object's reflected color under artificial illumination.
A series of test color samples (TCS) are exposed to an artificial light source and either a daylight or an incandescent bulb; the reflected color is then measured. Lastly, calculate the CRI of the light source by averaging all of the reflection colors, or "R" (there may be 8 or 15 pcs of reflection colors).

It is preferable to refer to generic CRI (R1–R8) or "CRI (Ra)" when talking about it. Use "CRI(e)", "Re", or extended CRI (R1-R15) when talking about extended CRI. Please remember that while mentioning CRI, XSY Lighting products specifically state CRI(Ra).

It is also believed that the greater the CRI value, the stronger the ability, as the experiment shows that a light source with a CRI around 100 exhibits a color that is quite similar to the way the reference light displays the same color.

A high CRI LED illumination is what?
To light the same thing differently, use LED lights with varying CRIs (Ra). The seemingly reproduced colors with low CRI on the left are not as excellent as those with high CRI on the right, as the illustration illustrates. An LED fixture is considered high CRI if its CRI value is more than 90.
