The 310nm LED lamp operates in the ultraviolet (UV) range of the electromagnetic spectrum, especially the UV-B band. This wavelength is very important for photochemical reactions since many catalytic molecules and photoactive substrates absorb light in this range, allowing for efficient excitation and activation. Traditional UV light sources, such as mercury lamps, have been widely used; however, they have many drawbacks, including high energy consumption, large size, heat output, and a short lifespan.
